Don’t trust marketing hype, expect laboratory proven performance

Why IAPMO Certification Matters

Certifications push filters to the limit, literally. IAPMO tests to NSF/ANSI industry benchmarks with water at extreme contaminant levels and tests for biproducts to ensure nothing unexpected is left in your water.

If a claim isn’t IAPMO certified in a laboratory setting, there’s no guarantee a filter will perform consistently or do what’s promised.

Our filters are independently tested and certified to NSF/ANSI standards by IAPMO, an accredited third-party organization. Certification means contaminant reduction has been verified, not just claimed.

Certifications

Let's compare

Other filters may carry NSF or IAPMO labels, but they may not be tested on the contaminants that matter. Explore detailed comparisons showing how Culligan stacks up against other popular filtration systems.

But my filter says it's NSF/ANSI Certified!

Take a closer look – competitors may not actually remove what they say. If a device says it’s certified to be Lead Free, that doesn’t mean it’s treating lead. Similarly, a filter can be NSF/ANSI certified to treat chlorine but may not be treating more worrisome contaminants.

Culligan pitchers and dispensers are IAPMO certified and tested to reduce Lead, Total PFAS, Pharmaceuticals, Pesticides, and more.
